HIGHLIGHTS: EURYTHMIA

Eurythmy is a harmonious combination of lines and proportions, but also of sounds and musical lines. This is exactly what composer and pianist Eve Risser invites you to discover in her aptly titled concert Eurythmia.

Accompanied by her jazz orchestra, the Red Desert Orchestra, and three Burkinabe percussionists, she offers a rich musical blend of traditional sounds and contemporary jazz. Inspired by her travels in West Africa, Eve Risser brilliantly blends balafons, djembes and the bara with her orchestra, creating a sound atmosphere that is at once delicate, spellbinding and conducive to improvisation. An invitation to travel and discover awaits you with Eurythmia.

Originally set up in the Marais under the name Carré Thorigny, the Théâtre Silvia Monfort as we know it today moved into the former abattoirs of Vaugirard in 1979.
